Hi there, I know yesterday could have been a little bit hard to understand for the non-Italian ones but, today… it will be the same… because we have the band Tiromancino.
This Italian band comes from Rome and they’re around since almost 20 years! They can be seen as one of the possible alternative answers to the international commonplace of typical Italian pop song.
Their lyrics are far from being simple or usual (incidentally, I read that the leader and vocalist Federico Zampaglione is also the son of a famous Italian poet and some of the lyrics come from his father’s poetry) even tough quite delicate as for the musical part. Especially in the recent works, the electronic component has become more and more dominant in their songs, while the pop and folk tradition is still quite strong.
Let’s talk about today’s song, “La descrizione di un attimo”. The song is so sweet that it touched my heart several times. The video is a tribute to a TV show I used to watch when I was a child, where the couple Vianello-Mondaini where playing the same roles as in the images you are going to look at:
