Summer is coming, the sun is more and more frequently in the sky, the rhythm goes down and the people dance very, very, very slowly. So, why not?! Why not having a week blessed by reggae.

That’s why today we have Morgan Heritage on this blog.

This reggae band is formed by five children of reggae artist Denroy Morgan. Despite their relative youth, they have been referred to as “reggae royalty”. Having grown up in their father’s music studio in the U.S. the group, then consisting of eight of the children, made their first appearance at Reggae Sunsplash in Jamaica.

After the release of  their first album, the family moved to Denroy’s homeland of Jamaica.  Since then, several things happened: three members left the band, the band released other 7 studio albums + some reggae compilations and live CDs and they have collaborated with many reggae bands and DJs of today including Capleton, Junior Kelly, Luciano, Gentleman, Beres Hammond etc.

Today we have their song “Chant We A Go Chant”:
