A Neptunian Nerd

Unexpectedly, I finished the most of the music preparation (very late in the night) and I’m just waiting for Dr.C. to agree on another aspect/project related to the party… but then, we should be ready to roll! While waiting for the event, I’m so into hip-hop that today I’m posting something from Pharrell.

Pharrell Williams (who is actually born on April 5, 1973… just one day older than me!), commonly known as Pharrell, is an American music producer, singer-songwriter and rapper. Besides being the lead singer and drummer of rock band N.E.R.D (we talked about them on the BLOG), which he formed with Chad Hugo and childhood friend Shay Haley, he made the record production duo “The Neptunes” where, together with Chad Hugo, they produce pop, hip hop and R&B music. As you will imagine (that’s why there is a post only on him), he’s also a solo musician and released his debut album in 2006.

Something I didn’t know, he is also the co-founder of the clothing brands Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream Footwear.
